Our values of cooking are based on Ayurvedic principles.

Sour food stimulates and boosts digestion, providing essential quantities of vitamin C


Salt maintains mineral balance and aids fluid retention and we have the inherent impulse to seek out sources of salt in our diet


Pungent food stimulates our digestion, increases appetite and help cleanse the sinuses and respiratory tract, think quickly and clearly and understand complicated matters more easily.


Bitter foods taste stimulate digestion increasing strength and include natural disease-fighting, immune-enhancing and growth promoting substances


Astringent food provides a healthy dose of calcium, magnesium, and folic acid and has a dehydrating effect on the body and helps to dry mucus
